Well it's on hold for now. Or DM, Mike, has to go out of country for 3 weeks and that actually fits with our fatigue with the Heroe's system. Mike was great, great role play and he has some real DMing talent. We will switch to Ron's Esteria now and perhaps when we are done Mike will have his campaign converted to Pathfinder and we can go from there.

We had a last battle where we got to find out what death is like for party members. We lost Bo due to his desire to be a hero (though it was not needed) and Abinhav of Stench, for his need to watch the carnage. We found out that the Orcs were massing in Cedar Hill just beyond the great Dwarven bridge. We found a forest giant who was more than willing to give up some explosives for the bridge. Henry the half ogre helped devised the three part plan and we executed the first 2 parts of the plan perfectly by creating a distraction and blowing a hole in the bridge. Bo and Abinhav of Stench, blew that last part: ESCAPE!

Oh well, live and learn I suppose. This goes on hold for now. See you in a year or so, look for posts under Esteria going forward.
